The National Energy Transition Task Force (Satgas TEN) launched the Indonesia Energy Transition Implementation Joint Office, known as the National Energy Transition Action Planning House (PATEN), located in Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, on Wednesday, January 17, 2024. Rumah PATEN serves as a center for coordination and communication among policymakers from various ministries and agencies, as well as business actors, investors, and bilateral and multilateral partners, to support the timely implementation of the energy transition in the electricity sector. Specifically, Rumah PATEN is organized by PT PLN (Persero) in collaboration with the Coordinating Ministry for Maritime and Investment Affairs, Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs, Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises, Ministry of Environment and Forestry, and PT Sarana Multi Infrastruktur (PT SMI).

Rumah PATEN will serve as a shared space or coordination center to ensure smooth operations for Satgas TEN’s tasks. Beyond merely an office, this shared home represents the epicenter for overseeing the energy transition process, from the planning stage through to the future implementation of energy transition strategies.
